Remove Internet Explorer From the Internet

Welcome my friends! It is time for a new movement! If you are reading this, then either your Internet Explorer is buggy, or you have realised the mistake in your ways of using Internet Explorer!

A new era has begun, where we CSS coders will no longer use hacks and work arounds to fix the flaws in IE. Instead, we will all completely forget IE, and simple use standard CSS code. We will also all add code to our site, showing people using IE the error in their ways!

So, if you are a CSS/HTML coder and are fed up with dealing with Microsofts IE, then join us in our rebellion.

The Code

We have a couple of options of different code you can add to your site. Some render IE completely useless to view your site, while others just provide an annoyance to IE users (and links to good browsers ofcourse).

Completely ban IE

This will create a large red box covering the whole page, stopping IE users in their tracks!

This will create a small red box in the top left hand corner
